Dear Seattle Pony Baseball and Softball Families,

As we are all aware, the recent Covid 19 Virus has impacted all of our lives and activities. In following the local, county and state guidelines, we will be postponing the activities planned for the next few days. This included the Mustang and Bronco assessments scheduled for this weekend as well as the Coach training scheduled for this Wednesday evening. In addition, we will postpone the Pinto Palooza and Softball “Tryit” eventd scheduled for next Saturday.

While the assessments are a key factor in building the baseball teams, we’ll still be assigning players based on assessment information from last week as well as any previous data we have on your players. Rest assured, we’ll make sure the teams are built equally and fairly.

I understand that postponing baseball and softball activities will be disappointing to our athletes but out of an abundance of caution, we felt compelled to put these activities on hold for the time being. We are continuing to assess the virus situation and will get baseball and softball up and running as quickly as we can.

I welcome your feedback so please do not hesitate to contact myself or your division commissioners with any questions or comments you may have. I can be reached at davidh@okigolf.com.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you and your players on the ballfield soon!

Sincerely,

David Hein

President, Seattle Pony Baseball
